Analytic cookies
Google Analytics is Google Corporation's analytic tool, which assists the web site and application owners to understands, how the visitors use the sites and applications. It may use a set of cookie files to collect information and creation of overviews of the use of web sites without Google Corporation learning any personal identification data of individual visitor's. The main cookie file, used by Google Analytics service, is the __ga file.

On top of compiling statistics of web site usage, Google Analytics can, together with advertising cookies, display more relevant adds in Google services (e.g. Google Search) on the web.
